• The Transport Minister is expected ti make a statement soon about Governmen thinking on the banning of heavy lorrie from city centres. This was revealed in th Commons last week by Mr Graham Page Minister for Local Government an Development.
Mr Page was replying to Mr Hugl Dykes (Tory, Harrow East) who noted tha in other major cities — Paris, fo example — no heavy lorries were allowe through the centre.
