SCOTLANDS first trailer service depot is to be opened by the York Trailer Co., Ltd., of Corby, Northants, next month. The new depot will be situated near Glasgow's city boundary at 2105 London Road, Tollcross, Glasgow, E.2, and will be run in conjunction with the York Trailer Company's Scottish distributors—Millburn Motors, Ltd., 51/79 Millburn Street, Glasgow, N.I.

Among the services to be offered at the new depot are comprehensive spares departments, with particular emphasis on parts for Yorc semi-trailers and third axle conversions, facilities for conversions, maintenance, overhauls, and repairs to all York emi-trailers, and similar facilities for fifth-wheel and braking installations.

The Glasgow depot will become the Sales Headquarters for York in the Scottish and North of England area.

Martin, of Martins Warehousing Co., Ltd., Tewkesbury, was elected chairman, and Mr. L. Hammond, Lenham Storage Co., Ltd., Maidstone, was elected honorary treasurer.
