TRAINING

Logistics masters

• The Chartered Institute of Transport and Aston University have agreed to offer new transport and

logistics MSc qualifications which can be studied by distance learning. The degrees offered are an MSc in Passenger Transport Management and an MSc in Logistics. CIT will market and administer the courses while Aston will provide the academic know-how and award the final degrees. The three-year courses begin in October.

Poplar 2000

• The drive-through truckwash at Poplar 2000 has doubled capacity because of demand. Opening hours are from 07:00hrs to 18:30hrs on weekdays and from 07:00hrs to 13:00hrs on Saturdays. Poplar 2000 is based at Lymm, Cheshire, at the intersection of the M6 and M56 motorways and can be reached from junction 20 on the M6.

It features the latest information on all this year events including ticket, caravan and exhibition request utilities, attractions, location and updates on special guests.
