Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of B. and E. end-tipping equipment for a post-war-type maximum-load four-wheeled chassis has recently been fitted to a Sentinel 7-8-ton oiler. The 7-8-ton Model A6 twinunderbody-ram gear is used and was built up together with a general-purpose wood-sided body.

'Internal measurements are 13 ft. by 6 ft. 9 ins. by 2 ft., giving a level loading capacity of 6i cubic yds. Built on a rectangular hardwood underfiame, with channel-steel longitudinal runners and hardwood cross-bearers, it has a steel thrust beam placed so that the force of the rams is spread over the underframe and not absorbed by the floor hoards.

The body has drop sides, the side , doors being divided vertically by means of centre pillars, the tops of which are linked by. a detachable tie-bar. The tail door is hinged at the top and fitted with B. and E. cam-shaped hooks and locking-bar assembly.

The tipping gear is fitted to the chassis, with a power take-off on the near side of the gearbox. The motive power is taken through heavy-duty universal joints and a transmission shaft to a high-pressure three-throw plunger oil pump attached to the chassis frame members through the medium of fabricated supporting brackets.

Oil is drawn from a rectangular container by a flexible suction hose. Twin telescopic-ram assemblies are mounted on the frame by means of an end-tip cradle and a robust hinge bar assembly is attached to the chassis immediately over the forward shackle brackets of the rear springs. The maker is Bromilow and Edwards, Ltd., Bolton.
