GOODS vehicle operators in South Wales have set up a maintenance advisory committee, with the object of improving the standard of maintenance of goods vehicles. Secretary is Mr. L. P. Owens, South Wales area secretary, R.H.A., and the first chairman is Mr. J. Billington of B.R.S. • In successive years the chairman will be drawn in turn from each of the organizations represented. The two vicechairmen appointed at the meeting were Mr. T. Ross (Ross Garages Ltd., Cardiff) representing the R.H.A., and Mr. J. R. Elliott, representing the T.R.T.A.
