This traffic study had the participatio of nearly all members of the E.C.M.1 and its results have led the Council Ministers to ask that the survey be con tinued to cover the period 1965-75. Th report also states that, to clarify invest ment policy, a survey of passenger traw port was begun in 1963; already th forecast is that the -number of mote vehicles will, on average, at least doubl in the period 1960-70.
