IN order to improve their maintenance 'facilities Wilkinsonis Transport (Bacup), Ltd., applied to the North Western Licensing Authority, Mr. F. Williamson, for one vehicle of 31 tons on B licence. The licence was granted at the Blackburn hearing on Monday.

Mr. J. A. Dunkerley, for Wilkinsons, said that the vehicle would be used for substitution purposes only, in place of vehicles which -were undergoing repair.
