S MORGAN AND Sons has been given the green light to base six vehicles and six trailers at a new site at Field Farm, in Netherton Road, Abingdon, subject to these conditions: ● the operator will provide the traffic commissioner (TC) with original bank statements and other financial documents – such as overdraft facility agreements or credit card statements – that show the licence holder has access to the appropriate funds for the size and type of licence. These documents are to be received at the office of the TC no later than the 1 February 2013 and cover the period from 1 July to 31 December 2012; ● there shall be no maintenance of authorised vehicles carried out at the operating centre; ● there shall be no operation, movement, loading or unloading of authorised vehicles at the operating centre before 3am or after 6pm Monday to Friday, or before 5am or after 6pm on Saturdays; ● no operation, movement, loading or unloading of authorised vehicles at the operating centre on Sundays or Bank Holidays; ● all vehicles shall turn left when exiting the operating centre.

First Class Freight

FIRST CLASS FREIGHT, based in Tamworth, has had its O-licence revoked on the grounds of loss of its repute: ● Phillip Taylor, the sole director, is disqualified from holding or obtaining an O-licence for a period of six months; ● Peter Short is also disqualified from acting as a transport manager until he can fufil certain requirements, including attending a refresher course offered by one of the recognised transport bodies. Short’s disqualification will remain in force until he makes an application to the Office of the TC, accompanied by the appropriate certification from the course provider/examination authority for it to be lifted.

NORBERT DENTRESSANGLE Tankers wants seven vehicles and seven trailers at the Valero Terminal, Plymouth.

NIGHTLINE LOGISTICS wants to station 12 vehicles and eight trailers at a unit in Weddington Terrace, Nuneaton.

KEN MALLINSON & Sons hopes to base 15 vehicles and 15 trailers at Spectrum Brands UK in Wolverhampton.

● A PI on 11 July will look at disciplinary action against Creative Concrete (Somerset) based in Martock.

● Disciplinary action against Mark William Stallard, trading as MW Stallard Transport, which is based in Ryde, will be considered at a PI on 12 July. The transport manager’s repute will also be looked at.

● On 19 July, a hearing will consider disciplinary action against D&F Haulage, which is based in Crediton.

● Boyes Transport, based in Wincanton, will attend an inquiry on 23 July and make a variation application. The TC will also look at disciplinary action and the transport manager’s repute.

● The TC will hear a new application from Bristol-based Yate Waste Management at a PI on 25 July.

Birmingham

● Bermuda Haulage, based in Nuneaton, will appear before the TC on 9 July. Disciplinary action and the repute of the transport manager will also be on the agenda.

● Mark Gallagher, trading as A Davies Commercials, based in Kingswinford, will make a new application at a PI on 10 July.

● The TC will look at disciplinary action against Betterware UK, based in Birmingham.
