Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

forms

• Vehicle maintenance forms prepared by the technical committee of the Road Haulage Association will shortly be distributed to all members of the Association. There are two forms each for powered vehicles and for trailers or semi-trailers. Planning and record details for the fleet can be entered on a wall chart.

The forms have been designed to help members prepare for vehicle testing and plating. Form A provides for the ordinary periodical maintenance inspection and covers all the items included in the MoT Goods Vehicle Tester's Manual as well as oil changes and certain other points.

Form B is for use once a month and again a few days before the annual inspection. Once again the items are those in the Tester's Manual and they are arranged in the order in which they would be carried out during a normal inspection by the operator.

Members may obtain additional copies through RHA area offices at a cost (including postage) of 3s 6d for a pad of 50 forms; 6s (100 forms); 12s (200 forms for powered vehicles only); 2s 6d each for wall charts; and 4s 6d each for PVC covers with a cutaway portion enabling entries to be made during the course of the inspection.
