This Way for the Test
Just what will the testing of heavy goods vehicles involve? There have been plenty of answers in recent months, not least in the pages of CM, but the stream of enquiries we still receive shows that many operators are not clear about many aspects of the scheme.
Next week's issue of Commercial Motor will feature special articles which:— • Set out clearly the scope of the scheme.
II Explain, step by step, the procedure which operators must follow.
• Demonstrate how applications must be made.
• Draw attention to the publications—including the excellent free guide produced by the Ministry—which provide information and advice.
