Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DISPUTE with the union represent ing craftsmen has led to a temporary suspension of the work study investigation into Bradford City Transport. At a meeting of the City Council last week it was agreed to refer the dispute to the Finance Estimates sub-committee with power to send it to arbitration if necessary. The union seeks assurances about redundancy (which have been given), but also wants a categorical assurance that its members would share any financial benefits from the inquiry.

Dealing with the question of redundancy the committee promised that any reduction in personnel would be made by normal wastage, but did not accept the request for a share of any financial benefit from the inquiry.
