I—Vroutes covered by Bury Corporation Transport has been drafted by the undertaking's general manager. Mr. F. Thorp. Aimed at saving 9,700 miles a year, the project will be tried out on the Whitefield and Walmersley services. It is claimed that the proposals would encourage short-distance riding and would improve certain existing services.
