"SPEEDY ACTION" AGAINST COMMISSIONERS.

FURTHER criticism of the West Midland Traffic Commissioners was made at a meeting of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, last week, when they were blamed for the alleged inadequacy of bus services in the Potteries. Alderman J. HI. Dale, chairman of the watch committee, said that the whole subject of the cornplaints was being considered and "speedy action" would be taken.

PIA S from July 13, there will he increased faciiities to the West of England by the Royal Blue Services, and many other improvements in the network. From London there will he 13 departures daily to Bournemouth, commencing at 8.15 am, and continuing until 11.45 p.m., whilst excellent services will be provided to Salisbury, Exeter, Torquay, Plymouth, Taunton, Ilfracombe and other parts of the West Country.

These changes follow the acquisition of the Royal Blue and Tourist undertakings by the National companies.
