ROAD RANGE Commercials says it is on track to open a new £1.5m Mercedes-Benz dealership off the A55 in Deeside by June 2012.
The owners, who recently acquired the business via a management buyout, are confident the Deeside site will help attract more retail van customers.
North Wales-based Road Range already operates a site in the Deeside Industrial Park, but the facility did not allow room for expansion, says dealer principal Brian Kempson. He says: “The new site is more conveniently located and will allow us to show off our awardwinning MB vehicles and Fuso Canter light trucks to our customers.” A purpose-built service centre at the new dealership will feature 10 full-length bays and a dedicated VOSA authorised testing facility lane.
Road Range sells and supports the entire MB truck and van range, as well as Fuso Canter trucks, from two sites in Liverpool, the Deeside dealership and a fourth centre at Llandudno Junction. ■
