Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A CENTRALISED bus engineering company is being established by the Scottish Bus Group as part of its reorganisation to fit into the liberalised bus operating regime.

Scottish Associated Vehicle Engineering (Save) is to control all bus overhaul works run by SBG companies with the exception of the Northern Scottish works in Aberdeen.

There already is a strong degree of partnership in Aberdeen between Grampian Regional Council and Northern, which share the services of chief engineer David Toy of Northern, Mr Toy will join Save's management team, however (see p8).

Save is the second new support company to be created by SBG. It has also formed a coaching and coach stations company — now named Scottish Coaches — to run SBG's Citylink, London service, Londor office and Glasgow and Edin burgh coach terminals.

Scottish Coaches will buy ir coaches and drivers from othei companies, principally from thE 11 SBG regional bus companie: which will be operating by mid summer.
