Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FULL-SCALE production of Bedford's Midi one-ton panel van had begun at the recently-upgraded Luton light commercial vehicle assemly plant.

Production of the Midi range, which includes long and short wheelbase panel vans as well as mini-buses and window vans, will be phased in progressively with the first batch consisting of short wheelbase panel vans.

The Midi will be built alongside Bedford's existing CF van range, and is one of the products of the £70m investment announced by the company 18 months ago.

Revisions to the Luton manufacturing facility during the last 12 months will allow the production of up to 20,000 Midi units a year in addition to the CF2 range.

European export potential for the Midi, which is based on the Japanese lsuzu WFR design, is estimated to be around 9,000 vehicles a year.

Bedford is aiming to have a local content of over 80 per cent on all Luton built Midis within the first two years of-full production.
