CHARNWOOD
Charnwood Trucks Ltd. has opened a new truck depot at Shepshed on A512 Ashby/Loughborough Road, half a mile to the west of its junction with Ml. The 2 7.00 0 sq.ft. depot is solely designed for the supply and maintenance of commercial vehicles—it includes a fuel injection shop, electrician's shop and underground workshop. Into its design has gone the experience of Charnwood's associate company. Kays of Derby, which has a 6 1.0 00 sq.ft. truck depot at Mackworth, outside Derby. Stocks held at Charnwood and Derby are worth about Elm.
MILLBURN MOTORS
Millburn Motors Ltd., Scottish Coventry Climax distributors, has moved to 75, Hawthorn Street, Glasgow N2. New facilities are available for customers, including a fork truck hire department, and two large spares stores, for commercial vehicles and forklift trucks.
LEP GROUP The offices of the Lap Group of Companies at Guildhall Street, Folkestone, have been closed and the business activities transferred to new offices at 3 Market Square, Dover, Kent. The decision to move opera
lions from Folkestone to Dover results in the large growth of traffic handled by Lep over the port of Dover, and the decline in traffic being handled over the port of Folkestone, due to the closure of the Folkestone/Boulogne Cross Channel Ferry Service.

HWP Engineering Co. Ltd. has appointed the Home Sales division of Railway Mine and Plantation Equipment Ltd. 88 distributors for the South of England and part of London.
BMH
In the second half of the year a profit of £4.3m was recorded, states the BMH Ltd. annual report for the year ended July 29. It ended the year with a loss of £3.2m. The home market recession was reflected in car, commercial vehicle and tractor output alike—with the exception of sports cars. But if the home industry continues to improve over the next few months, it expects –a satisfactory year in 1 9 6 8". Figures now available for September show a larger share by volume (45 per cent/ of the British motor industry's main manufacturers' export for road vehicles than ever before.
