AT a resumed hearing at Kettering, Northants, on Friday of last week the East Midland LA, Mr. C. M. Sheridan, rejected an application by Messrs. F. E. and R. W. Gardner, trading as Gardner Transport, of Cranford, near Kettering, for three B licences.

When presented on November 10, the application was for three licences for various uses within a radius of 200 miles. At the resumed inquiry the application was amended to 150 miles on behalf of five specified companies—Rugby Feeds Ltd., Watts and Son (Banbury) Ltd., F. C. Gardner and Son, Gilman (Potatoes) Ltd., and F. Hanson and Sons Ltd.
