Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Lafarge says Is new 12-wheel tipping artics which comply with the I RTE Category A specifications for tipping on uneven ground, will bring economic and environmental benefits compared to the more common eight-wheel 'rigids'.

"Seven articulated trucks can deliver th( volume of aggregate carried by 10 rigid vehicles," reckons Lafarge's national transport manager Reg Greatbatch, "A 2,000-tonne order, for example, would tak 30 loads less if artics were used. Operate( for a year at a typical three loads per day, the 30 new artics could save more than 10,000 vehicle movements. In turn, that would cut fuel costs, and help to reduce pollution and traffic congestion. In additio the artics' improved manoeuvrability will make it easier to deliver into tight spots."

Lafarge reports that some of the concer surrounding the use of articulated vehicle have been addressed by working with suppliers to ensure its new combinations are among the safest tipping artics in the UK. Features include in-cab inclinometer( to warn drivers of potential instability, and reversing cameras with in-cab CCTV
