LOGISTICS GIANT Wincanton has made 'huge' savings in personal injury claim payouts in the UK after adopting a more robust approach to handling claims says Sean Cusack, group health & safety manager.

Speaking at Tranfrigoroute (UK)'s H&S workshop last week Cusack said that last April Wincanton created a central department for handling claims which had since saved a significant six-figure sum by being 'more assertive' on claims.
