Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VOITH ENGINEERING h conducted pilot installations its VHBK 130 retarder in ti mid-engined coaches wi British operators, and planning to offer them on larger scale.

It has installed a hydroc namic retarder in a Leyla Tiger operated by Leicester C Transport, and is fitting one tc Volvo B1OM run by WestE SMT. The Volvo had a Fero retarder before.

Metro-Cammell Weymann v fit Voith retarders to those of Metroliner coaches which fitted with ZF transmission.

Generally, the retarder can fitted directly on to the gearbc but it can also be fitted in t propshaft at the intermediz bearing. Supply air and conti air are taken from the auxiliaric air reservoir.

Voith has still to complete c tailed costings on fitting the 1 tarder and cannot yet estima what an operator might pay.

The pilot installations ha' been carried out at Voith's Sou London workshops, but tt company plans to appoil agents for other areas.
