Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Chemiseal Plastic Coating is the name given to a protective coating developed by Protective Chemicals and Plastics Ltd which is applicable to ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is said to give a lasting resistance to corrosion and long-term resistance to chemical attack in applications to structures, plant and equipment. Chemiseal supplements the company's Chemitec rust-proofing coating.

Drying time of Chemiseal at 20deg C (68deg F) and in a reasonably dry atmosphere is 2hr. It can be overcoated in 18 /24hr, and a full cure, maximum hardness and chemical resistance are achieved in four /five days. Dry film thickness is 20 microns (0.002in.) per coat, two to four coats being used in a typical application.

Flash point is 28deg C (83deg F) in a wet state, the dry film being non-flammable. Approximately 50 sq yd can be treated with a gallon of Chemiseal, which is equivalent to 9.2 pc' metres per litre. On rough or pitted surfaces coverage may be reduced by 40/50 per cent.

The standard range of Chemiseal colours (British Standard Colour References) comprises tile red, wedgwood blue, pale yellow, pale blue /grey, dark green, light grey, light green, black and brilliant white. The majority of BS colours not in this list can be supplied in the case of orders of 25gal or more.
