Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

"Pp ECENTLY shipped to the Middle IN East by R, A. Dyson and Co. Ltd., the multi-purpose oilfield semi-trailer, illustrated here, has several unusual features. The first is that the fifth wheel is mounted inverted on the underside of the trailer instead of the usual position on the tractive unit. The kingpin is a .folding type and is mounted on the flat steel bed of the tractive unit, enabling this to be used as a load carrying vehicle without: the trailer. The semi-trailer has a capacity of 70,000 lb. and is fitted with low-profile tyres and walking-beam suspension to assist operation in soft sand conditions, and is called the self-loading model, because, with assistance of the power driven winch on the tractive-unit, it is possible to lower the front end of the trailer to the ground, when any mobile equipment. can he driven aboard. Lowprofile tyres are used also on the six driven wheels of the Scammell tractive unit.

When it is necessary to winch a skidmounted load aboard, the tractive unit can be backed against a very substantial plate which forms the rear cross-member and so stops the trailer moving. A roller is mounted in the top of the rear crossmember to facilitate the winching up of loads over the rear, when the trailer is coupled to the tractive unit.

With a platform 39 ft. by 10 ft. and a deck of -21 in, hardwood, the trailer is fitted with Michelin 24 in. by 20 in. tyres and fold-back landing gear. Braking is by two-line air-pressure through 16+ in. by 811in. "S" cam-type units.
