.--r'HE Institute of Transport invites I applications for the following:— ELMO C.M.U.A. Road Transport Research Fellowship. One Fellowship of value up to £1,000 to enable a British subject, over 30 years of age, and engaged in road transport, to examine road transport arrangements abroad and to report thereon for the information of those engaged in road transport in the United Kingdom. .
£700 Henry Spurrier 'Awards. For the encouragement of. study and research subjects connected with road -transport. Awards up to £700 for full-time study, travel, research and part-time study.
£400 Sir William Chamberlain Awards. (Restricted to applicants. engaged or intending to be engaged in road transport in Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumberland or Westmorland.) For the encouragement of study and research in subjects connected with road . transport, Awards up to £400 for full-time study, travel, research and part-time study.
• Application forms and. leaflets giving detailed information about the three awards may be obtained from thc Secretary, The institute of Transport, 80 Portland Place, London, W.1, to whom completed applications must be returned not later than May 31.
