A COMPENSATION scheme for bus crews who are attacked while on duty is to be introduced by United Automobile Services Ltd., Darlington. Under the scheme £2,000 will be paid to an employee or his dependants in the event of him losing the sight of one or both eyes, losing one or more limbs, sustaining any other permanent injury, or dyine. In the case of temporary disability.
£10 a week will be paid for up to 100 weeks, while up to £25 will be paid under the scheme for loss of personal belongings or clothing.
