Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SUPPORTING an application for a "working men's" tour of the Continent before the Scottish Licensing Authority, last week, an American welfare worker said there had been requests for such tours from American Servicemen at Prestwick Airpcna.

The application, which was made by West of Scotland Roadways. Lid., was for tours from Girvan, Ayr and MayboIe, to France, Belgium, Holland and Luxemburg. It was opposed by Western S.M.T. Co., Ltd., Cotter's Motor Tours, McKelvie and Co.. Ltd.. and British Railways.

Mr A. S. Lockhart, for the applicants, said the cost would be £41 9s. 6d. for 12 days. Mr. D. Mackay, for Cotter's, said his clients could cater for a private 'party at less than that price.

The hearing was adjourned.
