MR. G. A. GLOVER, formerly Commonwealth sales representative of David Brown Tractors (Engineering), Ltd., has been appointed manager of the David Brown Western U.S.A. branch which has been established at 2693 (3a) Alving Room Court, Oakland 5, California. He will be assisted by MR. W. W. NICHOLSON, sales manager, and MR, F. G. HENDY, service manager. The branch will be operated as a subsidiary of David Brown (Canada), Ltd.

MR. J. N. MCHATTIE has succeeded the late MR. H. CLUYTERBUCK as technical officer of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. He began his career with Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., and was lately technical editor of Motor Trader and British Automobiles Overseas. MR. D. H. HENRI, who has been on the staff of the Society for seven years, has relinquished his position as manager of the standards department to take up an appointment with Simms Motor Units, Ltd.

MR. F. C. G. Mats has joined W. H. Martin, Ltd„ clearing and forwarding agents, as chief executive officer. lie was previously South Eastern Divisional manager of the Road Haulage Executive. Before nationalization, he was associated with many transport, warehousing and wharfage concerns in different parts of the country.
