ABOUT 6,800 workers in London Transport's bus workshops will benefit from an agreement reached between the Executive and the joint trades committee providing for wage increases of is. 4d. a week for men and 5s, 6d. for women, with 5s. for juniors.
This follows a recent award of 7s. a week to 58,000 members of thc operating and maintenance staff (The Commercial Motor, January 22).
