7 Trailer vehicle excise duty rates will rise between 2.6% and 3.6%, despite Chancellor Kenneth Clarke's widely publicised freeze on LGV road tax rates in last week's Budget.
He slapped 25 on the £140 supplementary tax levied on trailers between 4-12 tonnes GVVV.
From 26 November he will levy an extra £10 on trailers 12 tonnes GVW or over, in a move designed to keep trailer tax rates roughly in line with inflation.
