• Danzas has won a six-figure contract to co-ordinate the transport and distribution of Electrolux components from Germany to the UK. It will involve moving white goods for Electrolux and lawnmower parts for Flymo.
• Fullers Transport has been awarded a 23.2m, threeyear, multi-temperature distribution deal by Netto, the retail grocery chain. The contract has created 12 new jobs and Fullers has invested £650,000 in I 0 new Volvo FL] Os on the strength of it.
• Shell Chemicals Europe has renewed its bulk liquid distribution contract with Huktra (UK) for a further two years. It involves delivering to Shell customers in France from two British plants at Stanlow, Cheshire and Carrington and Notts.
• The Lane Group has won a £1 Am contract with Swish Products which incorporates Swish Track & Pale and Swish building Products, the PVC fascia and cladding manufacturer. The nationwide contract, previously run by Beck & Pollitzer, will operate from Swish's Tarnworth, Staffs site and will involve a dedicated fleet of 11 vehicles.
