THE RENAULT Military vehicle designated TRM 2000 will guarantee working for 10 years at the company's Blainville factory.
The first vehicles of this type recorded by the French Ministry of Defence will be delivered next January.
Renault at Blainville (the former Saviem plant) expects to supply 600 vehicles in 1983 followed by 1100 per year until 1990.
The TAM 2000 (TRM = toutes. roues motrices = all wheel drive) uses the Club of Four cab and is powered by a turbocharged version of the Saviem 720 engine which produces 86 kW (117 bhp) DIN at 3000 rpm.
