Details of the main differences between the two types were given in this journal on November 21.

Brakes acting on drums secured to the rear wheels, grouped controls and heavy-duty 9.00 by 36-in, six-ply tyres on the rear wheels form some of the most important features of this new model. It will be seen on Stand 82, to be occupied by The Ford Motor Co., Ltd.

On Stand 247, Smith's Electric Vehicles, Ltd., Princesway, Team Valley, Gateshead-on-Tyne, 11, will be showing a mobile butchery shop, the basis of which will be an N.C.B. 1-ton battery-electric chassis. Built to attain the highest degree of hygiene, the body is fitted with a self-eantained hot-water supply to provide facilities for washing.

Interior appointments include a chopping block, waste bin, meat rails, counter and detachable trays. There is also an insulated cold-storage cabinet which can be refrigerated by means of eutectic inserts.

Among exhibitors of trailers will be F. W. Wheatley (Trailers), Ltd., Wheatley Avenue, Padholme Road, Peterborough (Stand 197). This concern will have on view an example of its 2)-ton balanced tipper, the body of which can be tipped and returned by hand, and two-wheeled and four-wheeled grassdrying trailers. This type of trailer is designed for towing behind a forage harvester and has a superstructure to retain the load which is fed into it.

A three-way tipping trailer and a 5-cubic-yd. muck-spreader with a moving floor will form two of the vehicles to be exhibited on Stand 162 by Alley Trailers, Ltd., Burnham Market, Norfolk. Whitlock Brothers, Ltd., Great Yeldham, Essex (Stand 71), will have a frameless all-steel trailer on exhibition. The pressed-steel interlocking panels, when assembled, form a rigid structure needing no mounting base. Trailers of this type are available in payload capacities ranging from 2 tons to 6 tons.
