IIICONTAINER HAULIER Deben Transport is looking for authorisation to base 10 vehicles and the same number of trailers in Faraday Avenue at the Hams Hall Distribution Park in Coleshill, Birmingham.
Deben. which has depots in Felixstowe. Manchester, Hull and Southampton, believes its new Midlands facility will attract extra work due to its proximity to the railheads at Hams Hall. Lindor Street and Tamworth, Staffs.
In August 2009. Deben acquired a 60% stake in Enfield, Middlesex-based, Dm turnover entertainment transport firm Red burn Transfer, for an undisclosed sum. The company says it has more than 30 trucks on order for 2010, to be used in the Deben and Redburn sides of the business.
