Running on the rollers
Although local dealerships form a large part of the dynamometer's customer base, by no means all come from the trade. During our visit, the rollers were busy serving a typical retail customer.
Taylors International is a newly formed subsidiary of Worksop-based Taylors Transport. The international operation's fleet was started from scratch with five X-reg Daf 85CF 430 6x2 tractors. As part of an all-round health check before entering service, all trucks were given a full dynamometer session to ensure they were delivering their full quota of horsepower.
