France has produced its 1,000th truck. Most of the plant's output is sold in France and Southern Europe. Opened in June 1992, the plant employs 200 and has a production capacity of 6,000 vehicles annually. Scania has also sold its first buses in Hungary through its Hungarian importer ACE. The 10 L113s will have Ikarus bodies and will be based in Budapest.
