Adjustable 'fop hat' AN adjustable 'top hat' regulating system has been introduced by Cranford Engineer ing Company, of Mere Platt, Knutsford, Cheshire, for the conveyorised discharge of loose material from bulkers.

The rate of material discharge is controlled near the delivery point on the outside of the vehicle. Any variations in material size can be catered for by an adjustment of the 'top hat' regulator.
