Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NORTH LONDON operator W Long (Haulage) has appointed liquidator Begbies Traynor to handle the company’s voluntary winding-up.

The haulage arm of earthmoving and groundworks specialist W Long & Company, which is not affected by the winding-up, holds an O-licence for 16 vehicles and two trailers.

As well as handling in-house movements of its parent company’s earthmoving equipment, the company says its core business is the transportation of equipment for “many major projects in the industry”.

Joint administrators Vivian Bairstow and Gary Shankland were appointed on 12 March and have issued a notice for all creditors of W Long (Haulage) to send in their details by 16 April.

However, the notice states that this procedure is “purely formal” as the company is able to pay all its known creditors in full.
