A 2002 Scania R1241_ 420 6x2 twin-steer tractor unit was converted into an 8x2 rigid in lust five weeks. The beavertail body has double-cranked fullwidth electro-hydraulic ramps with boom support, and the truck is finished in the livery of Byrne's client, Winner Plant Hire. SHAWtrack also supplied an existing 32-tonne Scania free of charge while the conversion was being carried out.
