Seen below on a Commer 8-ton chassis, the C-P Coal Robot fuel body has been developed jointly by the British Fuel Co. (Parsons Bros. and Snape Ltd.) and the bodybuilding division of Castle's Motor Co. (Leicester) Ltd., Northgate St., Leicester. A typical standard steel 14 ft. body weighs 33cwt, while the alloy version weights 26.75cwt.; both have a capacity of 350 cu. ft. and can carry, for example, 8 tons of coal or 4} tons of gas coke.
