riA NEW goods vehicle, named the Mustang, has been developed by Fried. Krupp Motorenund Kraftwagenfabriken, Essen. Available as tipper, lorry or tractive unit, the unit combines low unladen weight with relatively high payloads of up to 9 metric tons as a solo veh:cle and up to 20 metric tons as an articulated combination. Permissible gross laden weight is 15.2 metric tons, or 30.4 metric tons in the case of a " road-train " (vehicle-plus-trailer unit), and 31 metric tons as an articulated outfit. The Mustang has a four-cylinder two-stroke diesel engine developing 186 h.p.
