Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VET another order, emphasizing the I economy of British oil-engined vehicles under gruelling conditions overseas, has been placed for Leyland machines by a large undertaking in the Belgian Congo. The Societe des Chemins de Fer Vicinaux du Congo have ordered 10 Comet 90 articulated vehicles to augment the large fleet of Leylands already operated.

Vicicongo, as the undertaking are known, have already reduced their transport costs by fitting Leyland oil engines in 60 of their American articulated vehicles. Their Comets, carrying 6-ton payloads, have been showing a saving of 1.50 francs per kilometre in fuel consumption over petrol-engined vehicles carrying only 4 tons.

These latest Comets will carry payloads up to 11 tons, according to road conditions. They will be coupled to Dyson semi-trailers 32 ft. 6 in. long

by 8 ft wide. Wheels on the semitrailers will have eight-stud fixings,. so that they will be interchangeable with those of the tractors.
