AN order for 86 oil-engined good vehicles valued at £200,000 ha been placed with Leyland Motors, Ltd by Cifkurt Ticaret ye Sanayai, one c the largest motor traders in Istanbu Mr. F. M. Ozipek, manager of th Turkish concern, visited the Leylan headquarters factories last week.

The order comprises 66 Comet eruiserweight vehicles and 20 Su-pt Beaver heavy-duty export models, a of which will have low-geared re; axles. The vehicles, which will I shipped to Turkey completely knock( down, will be fitted with locally bui bodywork mainly of timber co; struction.

Most of the Comets are to be used. tippers, and will be employed on rd; construction and for carrying chron ore from the mines. More than 1: Comet 90 vehicles have already be sold chiefly for these purposes.
