SEVERAL 'variations in existing services are the subject of applications to the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners by Leeds Corporation. These concern the alterations of several routes and variations of fare stages.

The death took place on August 27 of Mr. William Rees, of Clive Place, Trecynon, Aberdare, the pioneer of workmen's bus services in the Aber dare Valley area. He founded the Aberdare-Glyn-Neath workman's bus services, which he carried on with his son. He was 54 years old.

CROSVILLE PLANS IN NORTH WALES

A BIG development scheme is contemplated in Flint by Crosville Motor Services, Ltd. The company recently purchased Jones's Motor Service and it has also acquired the services run by Mr. Harold Roberts.

All the routes served by these operators will be maintained, and it is understood that the present employees will be absorbed. A temporary garage and office have been established in the district. The company intends to maintain a permanent depot in the town.
