• Calls for the Conservative Party to pledge to repeal the 1968 Transport Bill on its return to power are among motions tabled for the Party's Annual Conference, in Blackpool next week.
Surprisingly, however, only seven motions have been received for the conference condemning the Bill, out of a massive total of 1,031 on the various topics which the constituencies wished to be discussed.
