the British Road Federation and allied bodies will be held on Novem
ber 9, at 5.15 p.m., at the British Council Cinema, 3, Hanover Street, London, W.1, at which Mr. R. 0. Swain will read a paper: "The objectives and place in the community of a traffic engineer in the U.S.A."
Mr. Swain is executive director of the American region of the International Road Federation and one-time Texas traffic engineer.
Following Mr. Swain's paper, the B.R.E.'s film "One Way Only" will be shown.
