Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IT is announced by Crossley Motors, Ltd., Gorton, Manchester, that •the well-known Wilson pre-selective gearbox can be fitted to certain of its passenger models. In particular, the incorporation of this gearbox, with its easy change, in the oil-engined models in which the Crossley concern is at present specializing is likely to attract the attention of municipal engineers, and no doubt this is the reason why Crossley Motors, Ltd., has selected its oil-engined six-wheeled double-deck bus chassis in which to display the new transmission

on the occasion offered by the forth. coming exhibition at Glasgow.

The chassis to be exhibited will have the Crossley six-cylindered oil engine, developing 100 b.h.p. at 1,700 r.p.m. The control of the Wilson pre-selective gearbox is mounted on the steering column, in a convenient position below the steering wheel, and it is possible for the driver to operate the gear change without removing his hand from the wheel. There is a reverse stop to prevent inadvertent engagement of reverse gear.
