Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

/\ COMBINED battery tester and Pl. charger—the Chargemobile—has been introduced by Crypton Equipment, Ltd. The unit, which is now in quantity production, provides everything needed for complete battery service in one com pact installation. •

It consists of two self-contained, but matching units, the Model A.D.41 fast charger and engine starter and the Model A.T.44 Speedtester. • The latter unit can be removed for battery testing while the. charger is in use elsewhere. The two units are mounted in a wheeled cabinet.

Batteries can be checked with the equipment in four minutes for capacity, state of charge, sulphation and need of replacement, whilst batteries fitted in a vehicle can be fast charged in less than an hour with thermostatic protection against overcharging. Boost charges can be carried out for automatically controlled periods at selected rates and up to 10 batteries at a time can be slow charged. If a battery is completely discharged, the Chargemobile can be usedto start the engine. Output of the fast charger is 60 amp. for 12v. and 100 amp. for 6v. batteries. Intermittent outputs of 200 amp. or over are available for engine starting.
