WHEN Fitter Bros., Ltd., Southampton, applied to vary their A licence before vv the South Eastern Licensing Authority at Southampton last week, another local company, Bakers Transport, Ltd., objected on the grounds that irregularities had occurred and called on Pitters to show cause why their licence should not be revoked or suspended. Mr. E. G. Baker, a director of the objecting company, protested that a new vehicle had been described by Fitters as a platform trailer when, in his view, it was a semi-low-loader.
