PORTABLE PRESSURE • LUBRICATORS

SELF-CONTAINED portable highpressure lubrication equipment. which is independent of any compressedl air supply, is a feature of-the Sellarc system, which is in growing use by

transport operators. .

Several models are supplied but the system is identical in each case, the lubricant being contained in a tank which is inflated to 10 lb. pressure with a tyre. pump. in use, the lubricant passes through special hoses to highor low-pressure guns which boost the pressure at the point of application. Special .adaptOrs •are, not required, although the general-purpose gun works at 7,000 lb. pet sq. in.; the highpressure gun is .stated to clear Choked bearings at pressures up to 22,000 Ib per sq. in..

Models of various sizes are supplied and are mounted on rubber lyres or skids. There is also a design which is strapped to the operator's back. Sellarc lubrication equipment is manufactured by W. Bateman, Ltd„ 95. Bootle Street, Preston.
