Authority last week granted the application of the West Riding Automobile Co., Ltd., to vary fares on 247 services. All single fares are to be raised, return rates fixed at 1+ times the single fare, with a minimum of 6d., adult monthly contracts increased by 10 per cent. and apprentice-rate 12-journey tickets abolished.
